Ch 3: Transformations and Solving

Chapter 3 Student Learning Objectives
SLO 3.1 Identify and create rotated, reflected, and translated polygons and demonstrate that these are rigid motion transformations that create congruent figures.
SLO 3.2
Identify and create dilated polygons and understand/show that these are similar shapes.
SLO 3.3
Determine the slope and write the equation of parallel and perpendicular lines
SLO 3.4
Students will multiply polynomial expressions and verify the Distributive Property using area models.  Students will then multiply expressions algebraically without first creating an area model.
SLO 3.5 Students will learn multiple methods for solving advanced one-variable equations.
