Ch 5: Sequences

Chapter 5 Student Learning Objectives
SLO 5.1 -  I can recognize whether a sequence represented as a list, a table, or as a graph is arithmetic, geometric, or neither, including situations in context.
SLO 5.2 -  I can represent sequences with explicit and recursive equations and convert between the two.
SLO 5.3 -I can identify the common difference of an arithmetic sequence and the common ratio (multiplier) of a geometric sequence represented as a list, a table, or as a graph.
SLO (Review) - I can solve a variety of equations. (exponential, fractional, binomial)

Extra Practice:
  • PDF Lesson 5.1.1 to 5.1.3: Introduction to Sequences
  • PDF Lesson 5.2.1 to 5.2.3: Equations for Sequences
  • PDF Lesson 5.3.1: Patterns of Growth in Tables and Graphs
  • PDF Lesson 5.3.2: Writing Equations of Geometric Sequences
