Background/Education
I am a San Jose native. I was born at Good Sam and grew up in South San Jose. My husband and I live in the same neighborhood that I grew up in and my children attended the same schools I did as a child. I received my degree and teaching credential from San Jose State University.

About Me
I have two children. My daughter attends West Valley College and coaches little kickers soccer. My son just graduated from Chico State with a BS in Computer Science.

​We have a 2 year old black lab named Harley. She is keeping us busy and a bit of a rascal right now, but we love her. We also have two cats who are not fans of the dog. 

I enjoy taking walks, going to the beach, listening to audio books, scrapbooking and volunteering for the San Jose's anti-litter program and picking up litter in my neighborhood.
